Not sure how this has anything to do with blogging, but I'm still interested in the concept of geocaching.

I discovered Geocaching a few years ago when I was one of the first beta testers of Uru: Ages Beyond Myst as the developers set up the story in the New Mexico desert and even made one of their real life friends a character in the story. As part of some viral marketing people on the Internet got help from Geocachers in the southwest to go look for clues the developers had hidden.
I also have written a blog in an "in-character" format. Haven't done much on it recently however. but I connected the Geocaching with the story about my journey.

Since then I have had all kinds of fun looking for local geocaches on short trips in the area with my wife. I enjoyed hide and seek and easter egg hunts as a kid and I enjoy the same kind of fun combined with high tech gadgets now.
One trip I went on was tricky. The person who hid the cache hug it up in a tree.
